Maths and Science Related

www.themathstutor.ie  This website offers a free two week trial for students. It includes J.C. and L.C. video tutorials which can be paused.

www.code.org Want to brush up on your coding and numeracy skills? Free website that all of our Junior Cycle students already have a log in for. Fun games also.

www.khanacademy.org All of our students are members of Khan Academy through their Maths and Science classes. There are lots of great, free courses here.

www.twinkl.ie Twinkl is a website that offers resources for Primary and Secondary schools. They have offered a free trial to all students. Just go to www.twinkl.ie/offers and enter the following code IRLTWINKLHELPS.

Well-being – Look after Yourself 

Headspace is a free app that is rooted in the science of meditation. It has series of guided and unguided meditations, and plenty of other relevant content to listen in your own time and at your own pace.

Colorfy is a lovely colouring mindfulness app that you can download to help you to relax.

Aura is a mindfulness app that is aimed at personalised meditations everyday, targeting stress, anxiety and depression.

Art

Languages

www.languagesonline.org.uk All of our French students have a log in to this website. It’s free to use.

Duolingo is an excellent, free app that you can download on your phone, tablet or computer. It has an Irish language section as well as a French one. Its simple to use and a very good way of keeping up with your language needs.

English

www.leavingcertenglish.net Although this blog is now closed down, it does has a lot of useful tip and advice in the index section

www.studyclix.ie Studyclix has resources for all subjects including English at L.C. and J.C. level.
